Spring 10x10 Day 3
I'm blogging every (week)day for the next two weeks to show you guys how I'm styling my outfits for the Spring 10x10 challenge that Lee and Caroline are hosting! I feel a little crazy doing this considering my life's schedule over the next two weeks, but hey! It's a good challenge and I think it's worth sharing how versatile a capsule wardrobe can be!
If you want to see the 10 pieces I’m wearing for this challenge, you can find 'em right here.
On to Day 3!

Sunday was a bit of a struggle for me. Brandon had a gig Saturday night that had us getting home at 2:30 AM and I had a work training at 8 that morning (plus church). I wore my high top Converse to work and church but wasn't feeling the overall vibe of the outfit. Something about having my neck and arms and ankles totally covered had me feeling super constricted.
I took a much needed nap after church and decided to make the bones of the outfit work for me. Brandon and I were headed to a church band gathering that evening which gave me a chance to wear my improved outfit out somewhere.
I swapped the sneakers out for my ankle boots to show the slightest bit of skin (weird how showing ankle was enough to make me dig this outfit), added my braided leather belt because belts have a way of elevating jeans, and changed my hair from a low bun to a side braid.
Those three little details took this outfit from awful to normal. It's not my favorite look of all time, but I for sure liked wearing this more than the original version of the outfit.
That's all I have for today! See you back here tomorrow for Day 4!
