my daydreams and plans for our rented home
After moving four times in five years, we are beyond ready to settle into a space for a good long while.
Camping Gear Daydreams
Our camping photo diary and a daydreamy round-up of camping gear on my wish list.
Why I Still Love Capsule Wardrobes
Why I still make and love capsule wardrobes all these years later.
Easter Baskets for Toddler and Baby
This will be Izzy’s third Easter and Luna’s first, so I kept things simple and minimal. I also did my best to control myself (the real challenge because everything is so cute!) and stick to gifts that would have a life beyond the holiday.
summer pregnancy essentials
This is my second pregnancy and we’re 32 weeks in, so I figured it was about time I shared what’s helped me enjoy/survive being pregnant.
5 ways to be more sustainable during a pandemic
Plastic Free July is here and this year, things are a little different. Those of us in the US are still dealing with the pandemic and all the precautions that come along with it, which makes the usual advice of shop the bulk bins! and bring your own cup! kiiiind of hard to do.
what we're streaming while we shelter in place
Well the world has changed a lot in the last month. I can only assume most of us have been thrown for a loop or two (or three or four) during these weeks and I can only assume we’re all finally making our way through our streaming lists. Personally, our lists are always filled with shows we want to watch eventually even though we constantly return to our favorite ensemble comedies.
I thought I’d share what we’ve been consuming media-wise — movies/TV, podcasts and playlists (I won’t even pretend to include books because we’re not reading any). If anything, this feels like normal conversation I’d be having with my friends and siblings offline, so hopefully you get a small sense of normality reading this (and maybe a new show to watch)!
summer bucket list: picnic in the park
I’m low key obsessed with picnics. I credit my college French professor for my love of them. They were a stand by of French Club and always involved my favorite things: bread, cheese, lemonade, fresh fruit, and hanging out outside. Sure enough, when I visited France with her and the club, our hosts gave us a very laid back picnic on the first day of summer. It’s one of my top three favorite memories and I swear I’m chasing the dreaminess of snacking under the Eiffel Tower every time I plan my own picnic stateside.
