Spring 10x10 Day 10

Here it is! The last look of the Spring 10x10/Unfancy Remix!

You may notice that I broke the rules again. And by that I mean I disregarded all of them.

See, the last day of the challenge landed on Easter Sunday. While I love the t shirt dress and other clothes I chose to include in this challenge, none of them screamed Resurrection Sunday to me.

I thought twice about buying this dress, especially because I try not to buy clothes for specific occasions. To be honest, I’d been eyeing this dress for months. I found it too tough to resist when it went on sale. I love the fit of this dress. I usually find it tough to pull off shift dresses because I’m not rail thin with giraffe-length legs, but I like how this fits. The v neck and little bell sleeve details make this easier for a petite chick like me to wear. Also, it’s lined, which makes me feel super grown up and fancy.

I styled the dress with my suede wedge heels and my lightweight olive green jacket and wore my Fossil satchel to give the outfit some more warmth (and because it’s the only purse I have that fits my water bottle).

Super simple styling that left me feeling pretty and comfortable and ready to celebrate Easter at church. What’s not to love?!
